These large-scale drawings go hand in hand with my sculpture. My butterfly is a shadow creature, just like my sculptures that are meant to share the ground with you and immerse you. The drawing is an object on white ground. Shadow and butterfly have equal value, dipped in darkness, they show you the way into the light.
I disegni dell’artista funzionano come le sue sculture: sono oggetti su uno sfondo bianco. In questo disegno la farfalla e l’ombra hanno lo stesso valore, sembrano due creature in volo.
